Andrew Hall`s defiant ton left Indian bowlers frustrated as South Africa reached 459-7 at stumps on the second day of the first Test. Hall (163 off 454 balls) played a determined knock for what was his maiden Test century and also his best effort in first-class cricket, beating his previous highest of 153 for Easterns versus North West in 2001-02.
