Bolton keeper Jaaskelainen ruled out

London: Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen will miss the remainder of the Premier League season after sustaining a back injury which will require surgery.

"He needs six weeks of rest to try and resolve his problem and he is also going to need some form of surgery," manager Gary Megson told the club's website (www.bwfc.premiumtv.co.uk).

"Either way his season is over."

The 32-year-old Finn turned down a new contract at the start of the season. Bolton are third from bottom in the championship.
