He has opted to dress down and come to Parliament in stark white kurta-pyjamas. While the fabric is fine cotton, the style is elegantly simple: a Jodhpur collar, two side pockets and one in front, a pen tucked inside and more often than not, the sleeves rolled back. He wears sports shoes, like his father did.
His trademark style of knee-length striped khadi kurtas in muted earth tones with narrow pyjamas and a sleeveless Jodhpur jacket has attracted attention. His favourite accessory is a Rolex watch gifted by his father. 'He looks as if
he is ready to go to work,' Science and Technology Minister Kapil Sibal says. 'Nothing Jyotiraditya wears ever looks ruffled and that's the sign of a well-dressed man. He also never looks out of place.'
