"Gandhi's
magnificent example of personal sacrifice and dedication
in the face of oppression was one of his many legacies to our country
and to the world."
Gandhi was thrown out of a train for not being white in Pietermaritzburg.
It was from the same place that Nelson Mandela challenged the might
of White supremacy. He was in jail from 1962 to 1990 for daring to
take on the apartheid regime.
Mandela, with more than two decades in a South African prison, is
an example of how love and patience can move mountains. |
