LTTE chief Prabhakaran reportedly killed

New Delhi, May 18 (ANI): The Sri Lankan Army on Monday claimed that it had killed LTTE leader Velupillay Prabhakar in a gun battle. The military claimed that it had recovered Prabhakaran's body and that he had died because of a bullet injury.55-year-old Velupillai Prabhakaran formed an organization called the Tamil New Tigers in 1972 to fight against the alleged discrimination done against Tamilians by majority Sinhalites.
