New Delhi: A 24-year-old widow was drugged and raped by her driving instructor and his friend in south Delhi, the police said here on Monday.
The victim went to Royal Motor Driving School in Ashram on Sunday evening. Her instructor Surinder Aggarwal gave her a drink laced with sedatives and took her to an apartment in New Friends Colony.

The police said Aggarwal and his friend Ravi allegedly took turns to rape her. The victim, a resident of Srinagar, reported the matter to the police, which took her to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The doctors at the hospital confirmed the sexual assault.
“We have arrested Aggarwal and search is on to nab the other accused,” said a police official.

The police said the victim's husband died two years ago and she is living with her father in Ashram area.
Her father, who is a shawls salesman, was in Jammu when the incident took place.
