I was tired - It was almost 11:00 pm in the night and i was really looking
forward to calling it a night. I had cycled for almost 130 kms and I wanted
to sleep.
As I entered bangalore, I found a quaint little place called the Executive
Inn. It was a house remade into beautiful inn. I parked my bike and entered
into the reception area where i was greeted by a man wearing a white shirt
and black trousers with a warm smile and a welcoming had shake. Hello sir,
he said and checked me in.
As I went in I saw some really beautiful and tastefully done rooms.
Simple, elegant and beautiful. I settled in for the night and slept
peacefully. The next day, when I woke up, i took a walk outside to realize
that the inn was an environmentally friendly inn and that the management was
running it consciously - using solar ebnergy panels, reharvesting rain
water, keeping the premises clean and green.
Out of curiosity, I spoke to Zarine who with a warm welcoming smile said
that she was an environmentalist herself and was running her inn in an
environmentally friendly way. I was impressed, called my mother who was
planning a visit to Bangalore and told her to book herself in there. Not
only was this place cute, frienldy and welcoming, it was also
environmentally friendly. Kudos to the management. Way to go. I will surely
stay there when i go to bangalore in October to attend my friend's wedding.
