Sify Technologies takes great pride in committing to Earth Hour and has lined up a host of green activities through its iways, websites and corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Here is a list of what the company is planning in its efforts to make a better world.

Street plays in 100 schools across 4 metros - New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Chennai - urging children to become brand ambassadors.

Painting contest for kids.

Screenings of An Inconvenient Truth, the American Academy Award-winning documentary film about global warming, presented by former United States Vice President Al Gore.

A daily quiz on environment.

A tie-up with local radio stations for a Batti Bandh Campaign in the four metros which will promote switching off lights at the said hour as a Sify initiative.

Viral chain mails to our customers and the public.

A signature campaign.

And of course, switch off lights at all our iways and offices for one hour on March 29.
