The arrest of Bal Nandgaonkar, Praveen Dharekar and Sanjay Gadi came within hours after the arrest of the MNS chief at the government guest house in Ratnagiri.
Raj moves court for stay on arrest warrant
While Raj was taken to Mumbai by the police, Nandgaonkar, Dharekar and Gadi, who were accompanying Raj in a separate car to Mumbai, were detained at Vashi at Navi Mumbai. They are expected to remain in police detention for at least a day.
Solapur/ Pune: At least 14 state transport buses were damaged and one truck was set on fire by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) workers at Solapur and Pune, hours after MNS chief Raj Thackeray's arrest at Ratnagiri early on Tuesday morning.

The MNS workers went on a rampage at Solapur, damaging at least 10 buses and setting ablaze one truck. In Pune, four buses were damaged in stone-pelting indulged in the MNS workers.
In Pune, the police arrested three of eight MNS corporators, as a preventive measure, while the remaining corporators have gone underground to evade arrest.
