Bhubaneswar: Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday received a threatening letter, official sources said.
The letter, written in Oriya, was received by the Chief Minister's Office. It contains a death threat addressed to Naveen, the sources said.
"We received such a letter today," Home Secretary T K Mishra told reporters, adding the sender of the letter signs off as 'Maobadi Sangha, Paschima Orissa' (Maoist outfit, western Orissa).
It may be recalled that the Orissa Bhavan in New Delhi received a threatening phone call last week.
