IF WE HAVE TO BAN PREPAID , THEN POST PAID SHOULD BE AVAILABLE AT REASONABLE PRICE/RENTALS.

In today's high tech gadgets available particularly to people whom we are most afraid of, it is a useless and unwanted exercise at the cost of poor and innocent people who need the facility at cheap rates.

Yes it will help, particularly if the adresses are properly confirmed, along with current phograph taken by the issuing dealer with the finger prints, height and weight of the applicants as recorded at the time of accepting the application form. This procedure to be followed till our neighbour sponsered terrorists and their peace peaching politician do not let normal conditions return.

To some extent, it will. But, instead of this the emphasis should be on proper verification before activation of the pre-paid mobiles. Make rules more strict and follow it more strictly. Punish every person in the process from purchased to dealer to the the telcom company if fake documents are submitted.
An ordinary citizen should not be affected and existing cusomers should be verified again, but pre-paid mobiles should not be banned.
It is a cheap means of commuication for poor people.

to an extent it may prevent;
provided the monthly rental charges should be free / not exceed Rs 25 per month.
only then its fair towards the public.
even they are indians to enjoy their rights & facilities to keep in mind their duties
