A very big NOOOOOO..Unfortunately, in our country, the crooks & the corrupt get the creame, the honest soldier gets the boot. There is a need to change the setup. The politician& the bearocrats are looting the country in the name of democracy.Only a medal goes to the honest soldierEven GOD cannot help it..We have enemies from within---don`t need any from without.

firstly why is this question about fair treatment asked? is it for the consumption of the public,NO. Its for you guys who remember the soldiers only a few days before 15 Aug or 26 Jan. the tv media cover all the bollywood stars or the cricketers who join the soldiers for their publicity before these two most imp days.
The soldiers join the forces for RESPECT and another half becoz of the money, as there are no job oppurtunities in some states. BUT the bureaucrats and the governments deny the same to the forces. Everyone uses them so please join the gang and enjoy.

In my opinion the players especially the cricket players are getting more attntion than our national heroes.

We must pay equal attention toward our national heroes if not more than our cricket players.

Our cricket players are getting crores of rupees but our national heroes who are always ready to lay down their life for the sake of our motherland are almost ignored in this respect.

They are no less important than our cricket players. We must not disparage them but give them their due.

Forces are not getting their due primarily as decisions related to them are being made by civil servants. This has been happening because the three services are not clear about what they want. Some of the past chielfs have not taken any stand on crucial issues affecting forces and we all know why. I really dont understand what else they want to achieve after reaching that level and what is the use of those achievements if they can not look into the eyes of people whose interests they were supposed to be serving.
