Salute our heroes

The concerted action in Mumbai by the the Indian Army and NSG has been a big success. However even as there elation all around, the NSG has cause for mourning too; it lost two of its best men to the terrorists' bullets. Ditto for the Maharashtra Police which lost 14 of its brave men. Here is your chance to salute the bravehearts.

Was it a success really? All the hostages tortured and killed brutally, ATS chief and his men killed without even firing a bullet and Nariman House and Taj damaged as much as those terrorists could. All this done by 10 persons who sailed in a boat from Karachi to Mumbai killing everyone in the way. May be it hurts some feelings but it was a very big failure for our defence mechanisms and intelligence. We do need a serious introspection if at all we want to survive such attacks in future.

Nothing can equate such a sacrifice for the country by the brave heroes. I feel proud of the brave men who lost their lives in the course of saving the countrymen from the unscrupulous terrorists. India needs such people rather than the dirty politicians who play divisive politics in the name caste, creed, religion, language & region for attainning their personal goals.
