Manipur has been on the boil for over a month now, demanding the removal of the Armed Forces Special Powers Act of 1958. Picture shows body of student Pebam Chittaranjan, 28, who torched himself to protest against the Army`s sweeping powers. Chittaranjan publicly doused himself with kerosene and set himself ablaze on 15 August to demand that the Armed Forces Act be scrapped in Manipur.
