Grey morning in Delhi

The national capital started Wednesday on a cloudy and misty note, with a drop in the minimum temperature.

The low was 12.6 degrees Celsius, still three notches above average for this time of the year. The minimum temperature Tuesday had been 15 degrees Celsius.

'The sky will remain cloudy during the day with thunder in some areas. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 23 degrees Celsius,' said an India Meteorological Department official.

The capital has recorded 14.8 mm of rainfall so far this week.
