Australia set 293-run target for India

Australia scored 292 for eight in their first One-day international cricket match against India here Sunday.

Electing to bat, Australian top-order chipped in with vital contributions.

Ricky Ponting (74), Tim Paine (50), Cameron White (50), and Michael Hussey (74) took Australia to the challenging total.

Ishant Sharma took three wickets for 50.
