A remake of the Kannada hit `Hello Yama`, the Telugu version fails to impress unlike the previous movies in this genre, which regaled the audience with laughter.Suri (Suresh) after death reaches Hell where he meets Lord Yama (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and Chitragupta (Babu Mohan). Since Suri had been a movie director on the Earth, he offers the hero`s role to Yama if he could go back to Bhooloka.Yama is thrilled with the offer and wants Rambha, Oorvasi and Menaka from Indraloka to be paired as his heroines.

They too descend to earth and impressed by the film field, decide to stay back! Yama gives back Suri`s life and is now after him for the hero`s role. Director Pavithran made a bad mess of degrading Yama and Chitragupta who pledge the golden `gadayudha` of Yama to fill theirstomachs and also by making them sit beside beggars all in the name of comedy!

The dialogues are a poor imitation of the Ali starrer, `Yamaleela` which was a run-away hit. Finally leaving Suresh hale and hearty, Yama leaves for Yamaloka and the film ends much to the relief of the audience.
