Raghuram (Prakashraj) and Sudhakar (Jagapathi Babu) are the visitors of a same park. While Raghuram is a senior citizen, Sudhakar is the father of a two year old daughter who comes to play in the children zone.

In no time, both of them get talking and Raghuram reveals that he happens to be the father of a grown up daughter Abhi (Trisha) who is now married. He goes back to the time when Abhi is born and from then on, narrates how she grows up and how he had been there watching her grow.

In this process, he also talks about the emotional aspect and how they develop a strong bonding. The twist comes when Abhi who grows up to be an intelligent girl who goes to the city to study and falls in love with a Sardar (Ganesh). What happens from there and how all this flashback creates an impact on Sudhakar forms the rest of the story.

The director has come out with a matured subject and true to the storyline; he has presented it in the right proportion in terms of narration and depth. The dialogues were written with wit and insight, the script was under control, the screenplay suited the script. Music could have been better but there is still one good number to cherish.

Cinematography takes away all the credits for its exceptional work. Editing was neat and so were the costumes. Trisha was sweet and did her bit well, Aishwarya was normal, Jagapathi Babu was his usual decent self but the life of the movie is definitely Prakashraj. He has been aided by some good comedy from Thalaivasal Vijay. The others made their presence felt with their roles.

While the first half is more on the comedy side with elements of fun and laughter, the second half goes about with the emotional sequences and a touch of melodrama overdose. Overall, the pace of the film is quite mild.

The film is a good treat for all those fathers who have daughters and those daughters who think they know just about everything and anything. This is more of a family treat and there is practically nothing for the mass audience. The film has to be watched with a cool and relaxed mind to enjoy the emotions and the tender feelings.

Even the entertainment aspect is in a very contained manner without any whacky comedy. It is not often that one gets to see such matured emotional treats so it is worth a while to get in tune with oneself by watching such flicks.

Verdict: Feel Good
