| Srikath and debutant director Parthasarathy wants to tickle the funny bone of audience in Kanchanamala Cable TV but ends up irritating them. Sudarshan (Srikanth) runs a cable TV network called Kanchanamala in memory of his niece who has gone missing from a village called Juwalapalem. Sudarshan and his assistant (Sunil) becomes popular in the village due to their programming. Meanwhile a criminal lawyer (Tankella Bharani) asks a client of his Sirisha (Lakshmi Rai) to impersonate as Kanchanamala and live with her parents to escape from a criminal gang. This creates confusion and soon Sudarshan falls in love with his “niece”! The rest of the story is how Sudarshan exposes the bad elements in the village and also solves the mystery of his missing niece. The film has a ludicrous plot which tries to blend comedy, sentiments and a bit of action. Srikanth is the only saving grace while Lakshmi Rai is a terrible let down as she cannot emote nor dance and is more into skin show. Sunil and Krishna Bhagavan comedy scenes provide some funny moments and music by K.M.Radhakrishnan is melodious. On the whole Kanchanamala Cable TV lacks story, logic and moves at snail pace. Verdict: Avoidable
