| By Moviebiz Aryan Rajesh’s debut film Hai is disappointing. The script is weak, as the story is not convincing. The so-called twist, which is very important for a love story, is missing. Director E.V.V Satyanarayana has tried his best to project his son Aryan Rajesh, but the boy does not have enough material in him to justify his father’s faith. Aryan Rajesh (Aryan Rajesh) is a rich young MBA from States who roams around the town singing songs! In one of his visits to a shopping mall he sees Priya (Nikhita) and falls for the beauty head, line and sinker. Soon they decide to get married, but Priya’s father (Prakash Raj) is made of sterner stuff as he does not believe in love marriages and dismisses it as puppy love. He puts forward a condition to the lovers, saying that they have to go abroad for a month, live together and understand each other before deciding to get married. (This American concept is the basic weakness of the film, as our audience cannot stomach this kind of arrangement, at least before marriage! ) However just like the way the father predicted the lovers come back to India separated, as Priya suspects Aryan to be a womaniser. After a lot of contrived situations, director has painstakingly united the lovers in the climax! The script and presentation are weak and even the music of Koti is disappointing. Aryan Rajesh needs to brush up his acting and to concentrate on his dancing as his movements lack grace. Nikhita looks glamorous in those skimpy clothes and has the potential to go places. Verdict: Love’s Labour Lost |
