The film is from the D.Rama Naidu film factory. Nee Premakai is a triangular love story.

The story line is old wine in a new bottle. Srinivas (Vineeth) and Prabhu (Abbas) are two friends living together. Srinivas is a hardworking and sincere guy but Prabhu is the opposite. He is living off his friend. Both the friends have a soft corner for Anjali(Laya) their neighbour who is studying in college. Srinivas has a soft and silent admiration for her while Prabhu is aggressive and tries to get her attention at any cost. When Srinivas knows that Anjali has financial difficulty he sends her some money but does not disclose it to her. Prabhu takes the credit of that by lying that he gave the money and slowly he wins her heart. Till the end Anjali does not realise that Srinivas is a genuine person than Prabhu.

The story and treatment by Siva is idiotic and outdated. The comedy track of Brahmanandam and Sudhakar is the only relief in the film. Music of S.A.Rajkumar is repetitive and unbearable. The lead actors Abbas and Vineeth has reached expiry dates as both looks dated compared to the young heroes. Abbas has to check on his weight if he has to remain in the field. The producers are planning to dub the film into Tamil to make some money back. It is one of the most insufferable movies in recent times.

Verdict: Outdated
