A new trend seems to have caught up with the Tollywood film industry, which is after heroine-oriented film, after the stupendous hit of Arundhati. After Bhumika-starred film Anasuya, it was the turn of Arundhati of Anushka – both ruling the roost at the box office.
Now, Meera Jasmine, who bagged the National Award, is all set to get into this genre of the films. Srikanth Vemulapalli is the director. Amarnath Reddy is the producer, making the venture on Amarnathan Movies banner.
The director said: “It is a horror film. We selected Meera Jasmine after thoroughly studying her body language and looks. We are going to touch a novel subject, which has not been touched in the India cinema so far. All care is taken that the commercial elements would not be missed out.”
The film will have its first schedule from November 11 to December 15th Ramoji Film City. The next schedule will commence at Chennai. Touted to be a high budget film, the produce said that graphics would play a vital role in the film.
