Now that the release date (May 31) of Rajnikanth's magnum opus Sivaji has been announced, there is a terrific demand among exhibitors to screen the film all over Andhra.
The estimates by the trade pundits have put the number to a swirling
1000 plus prints worldwide. It is Rajnikanth's ninth film for AVM banner and ninth
film to be directed by Shankar.
Heroine Shriya is keeping her fingers crossed as the actress who could
never make an impact in Tollywood is waiting to become the numero uno
in Kollywood surpassing Asin, Trisha, Nayantara among other to the
number one slot. Remember that she had given bulk dates to Shankar and
had to say no to offers that came her way in Telugu.
A.R Rahman's music is already a hit and as industry watchers feel
Shankar-Rahman combination will grow on you only after the release.
