| Crazy Mohan and Kamalhassan have given us some great comedies in the past. But this time, the writer disappoints as the comedy in Jery fails to evoke any laughter. The film falls flat as Crazy is clueless, debutant director Kanthan is helpless and hero Ramesh is pure teakwood! Jayaram alias Jery (Ramesh), a college student takes a bet with his friend Kaushik that he will make three girls flip for him. Though our hero does not believe in love he goes ahead and pretends to be in love with Jeeva (Meera Vasudev) a policewoman, Janani (Mumtaz) an actress and Janaki (Sruthi) a student. All the three women falls for Jery and how all this happens is told in a ‘Crazy’ manner that just fails to tickle your funny bone.
Verdict: Falls flat |
