The advance booking for Dasavatharam has opened in Chennai's 17
screens on Sunday (June 8) morning.
The hype around the film is
getting bigger as the release date approaches.
On Saturday evening, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.Karunanidhi and his
family watched a special show of Dasavatharam at Four Frames
preview theatre in Chennai.
The show organized by producer Aascar
Ravichandran, was attended by Kamal Hassan and director Ravi Kumar.
After the show a visibly happy Karunanidhi was seen hugging Kamal and
congratulating him for his terrific performance in the film. K.S Ravi
Kumar was also heaped with accolades for making such a great film.

Meanwhile producer Aascar Ravichandran had enough reasons to
celebrate. His films Canadian theatrical rights have been purchased by
the world famous animation studio Walt Disney for an undisclosed
amount.
It is the first time that Walt Disney will have a tie-up with
an Indian film in the overseas market. They will be screening the film
in 18 screens in Canadian multiplexes.
