The countdown to the release of the most eagerly awaited movie of 2008, Kamal Hassan?s magnum opus Dasavatharam has started.
There is just 10 days (as on June 3) more for the audiences to watch Ulaganayagan's 10 different roles in a single film. This highly anticipated film is releasing on Friday the 13th June, worldwide.
We at sify.com will be updating you with daily bulletins and trivia on the film. First and foremost we asked producer Aaskar Ravichandran if there will be any further delays or hiccups in the release date.
Says Ravichandran: "Hundred per cent, the film will release all over the world on June 13, in some markets like Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Europe, UK and US it is likely to start on June 12, Thursday night."

Ravichandran is releasing the film all over India in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with over 1000 prints or in digital format. The film is surely going to take a bumper opening and may recoup its cost in the first week itself!
The advance booking for the film opens on Sunday, June 8 in Chennai city, where it will be released in 10 screens.
