Jaya TV is coming out for the first time ever for a Tamil channel with a live telecast of “Kollywood Vs Tollywood” Cricket Match.

It will be a 30 over Day & Night match at the prestigious M A Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai today (Feb 4). Imagine Arya, Simbu and Shaam playing in the centre pitch where greats like Sachin, Inzamam and Ponting have batted.

The Kollywood team has Abbas (Captain), Madhavan, Shaam, Simbu, Srikanth, Arya, Jeeva, Vikranth, Ramesh, Arun Kumar, Ramana (wicket keeper) and Karunas.

The Tollywood team has Tarun (Captain), O.Kalyan, G.V Sudhakar, Ravi Shankar, Saikumar, Tarakaratna, Kalyanram, Aryan Rajesh, Dasari Arun, Raghu, Malalla Ravi, Ayyappa (wicket keeper) .

Apart from the star players, a galaxy of celebrities and leading artists from Tamil film world will be watching the game. Later the ‘Arokya Cup’ (main sponsors) will be given away to the winner. Abbas the captain of Kollywood said: “It will be played as a serious match between two teams who have played cricket at higher grade”.
