By Moviebuzz  | Sunday, 20 March , 2005, 17:02

Kamal Haasan met the press in his Alwarpet office, Chennai at a function organized by his fans to felicitate him on being conferred doctorate recently by the Satyabhama Deemed University.

The actor reiterated that he would not change the title of his movie Mumbai Express and dismissed rumours spread by a section of the industry that the film may not make it to the theatres on April 14!

Kamal also added that he would go ahead with the title of Mumbai Express and when questioned if he received any letter from DPI general secretary Thirumavalavan urging him to change the title, he replied in the negative.

He stressed that Mumbai Express is on schedule and will be released in over 100 theatres all over Tamilnadu. He also said that the audio would be released shortly. This press conference is also the beginning of the marketing and promotion of Mumbai Express against some stiff competition and also assuring the theatres that he is on schedule.
