Bharat of `Boys` fame is the new boy who has been making waves in the Tamil film industry. Among the four boys introduced by director Shankar it is only Bharath who has been able to prove himself with a string of hits.

After “Boys”, Bharath went on to do a small Malayalam film“4 the People’, which turned out to be trendsetter and was also dubbed successfully into Tamil and Telugu. Later in “Chellamay”, Bharath’s performance was noticed and his latest release “Kathal” produced by Shankar and directed by Balaji Sakthivel has opened well.

Bharath says I like Sneha. I dont decide my heroine. The director does.

Bharath says I belong to the the dance group `Swingers`, where they saw me dance and suggested my name to Shankar.

sureshmechnit asks I think you have lot of potential to make it big in tamil films? Please don't fall in the trap of any hero image. Be a director's actor and if you do so you are here to stay.

Bharath says I have already answered the first part and I dont have any filmi background. My dad is a consultant in computers.

Bharath says It was an average in Tamil. But it is the top grosser in Malayalam for 2004.

Bharath says Yeah, definitely. But dance alone does not help. It is just an added advantage when you are in the movie industry.

Bharath says Had good reviews about my performance in `Chellamay` during the shooting itself. It kept getting bettter after the release and I was flooded with offers and with the grace of God Kadhal worked for me.

Bharath says Yeah, a lot. Tamil directors take more time to make it better. But in Malayalam, they are fast.
