What better you can expect from Javed Akhtar and his wife Shabana who were always favouring and openly supporting minorities at each and every stage. It is the same bad blood flowing in their veins and religion is above the mother land for them. They have always acted as saviours of minorities but not the nation.

I agree with Akhtrasab.
I personally like the song sung by A.R.Rahman
Jamayat people should leave the people alone instead of dictating about useless issues to Muslims. We should stop listening to them and go on living our lives the way we want.
We pray Allah but that does not mean we can not do anything else in our life.
We proudly take part in Ganesh festivals in Mumbai and sing Ganpati Bappa Moraya also. Are we going to stop that just because some Imam will declare it un-Islamic?
There is a limit to calling everything Islamic and un-Islamic. It is not required for living our life and celebrating it.

The controversy is because of those who issue the fatwa. They do not have any right to give any such instructions to masses at large on any issue in this democratic country. People of any religion should be free to sing whatever song they want to sing or not sing. The act of issuing such fatwa specifically against a song which is otherwise revered and loved by millions stinks of deliberate attempt to vitiate communal harmony.

India being a democratic country, every individual has a right to raise his concerns. But we have to make sure those concerns don't take a face of severe conflicts within the country. This issue is also one of such kind. I agree with Javed Akthar, If you don't want to sing don't sing it, no body forces you to do so. At the same time you have no rights to fool the public around using your knowledge in a wrong way. When ever I have tried to sing the song I have always felt deeply that it brings out the emotions of a true patriot, Lets forget where it generated from, lets feel the emotions in it. Lets be Indian.

Leaders who were responsible for cutting of Vandematram was responsible for cutting of Bharat also.
If they could show courage to sing complete vande matram in congress Conference the "theory of two nations " and birth of pakistan was not possible.
