Mohanlal for athletics and to bid for IPL

If Mammootty is to endorse Volleyball, Mohanlal is going to be the new “goodwill ambassador of Kerala state athletics”.

Says Mohanlal: “I’m very happy to be part of the sport in a state which had produced international stars.”

Meanwhile Mohanlal and Priyadarshan are also bidding for a new cricket team for 2010 IPL, as BCCI is planning to increase the number of IPL teams.

Adds Mohanlal: “Yes we are bidding for a Kerala IPL team, if the price is right and we win the bid.”
