Mohanlal   The King is back, as his Natturajavu is ruling the box-office. The actor would have `Thiruonam` lunch with his parents in Poojapura in Thiruvananthapuram. He is on cloud nine as his phone has not stopped ringing since the release of the film which has the potential to become a blockbuster.

Mammootty   “Onam has always been very special to me and this time Kazhcha is releasing on `Thiruonam` day. The film has shaped out well and I am sure that it will be appreciated by all. I will have a good `Onam` lunch with my family in Kadavanthra in Kochi.

Dileep   Vettam is a fun entertainer targeted at the family audience. This year I plan to celebrate Onam with Manju and Meenakshi in my parents home in Alwaye near Kochi.

Jayaram   This year I am not celebrating `Onam` as my father passed away a few weeks back. In fact I am not taking part in any function or giving interviews. I was very attached to my father and will miss him but there is something to cheer about this year as my son Kalidas won the National award for Best Child Actor.

Biju Menon and Samyuktha   We attach a lot of importance to `Onam`. Having a bath early in the morning, wearing new clothes, going to temple and visiting the elders on `Onam` is a custom for us. This year too, `Onasadya` (lunch) is with Biju’s parents and later we visit Samyuktha’s parents.

Pritviraj   I am all excited as my first action movie Satyam is releasing. I have fond memories of Onam during my childhood. I will miss my father who is no more and will celebrate the day with my mom, brother Indrajeet and his family.

Kalabhavan Mani   Onam has lost its old charm. But I will be in my house with wife Nimmi and daughter Lakshmi. We usually go to the temple and afterwards I help my wife cook an elaborate meal. I am particular to have `Atthapoovu` in front of my house for 10 days. I also play some games with children in the neighbourhood. During my childhood I could not afford to have a good meal or wear new clothes but now by God’s grace I have everything in life.

Meera Jasmine:   This `Onam` is extra sweet for me for two reasons. One for winning the National award for Best actress and my success in Telugu films. I am yet to recover from the shock that I was pitted against Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen to be the Best actress in India. All I can say is a million thanks to God and my elders. This `Onam` is very very special to me.       Kavya Madhavan   This `Onam` I will be in location at Pala in Sanal directed Iruvattam Manavati. I love sweets especially Paalpayasam made for `Onam`. As I am on a diet I tried to avoid it on other days but will make it up on `Thiruonam` day and have as much as I can.   Priya Mani   My first Malayalam film, Satyam is releasing for Onam. I will be in Bangalore where I am settled. Every year we always celebrate `Onam` in grand style
