Dynamic hero Devaraj is playing the role of a model Mathematics school teacher in the Kannada film Meshtru that is scripted and directed by Mahadevu.

Senior actress Bhanupriya plays heroine to Devaraj in this film. Tamil actor Mansoor Ali khan is playing the rabble rouser. Dilip Pai, Seetha, Sujibala, Risha are also in the cast.

The subject of this film is based on the real life incident. In the late 70's a corporation school teacher returning home in the afternoon finds a rowdy troubling the passerby. The teacher stops him from further action and tames the rowdy for better life.

This film went on the floors at Kanteerava studios. Music director K.M.Indra has written a song on the significance of zero in the film. This song beautifully written and composed was heard by the media persons. Satish, Shogun Manju, medical Manju and the director Mahadevu are the joint partners in producing this film.
