Tamil superstar style king Rajnikanth's much hyped 'Sivaji' is showing 52 shows
a day from 15th June in Bangalore alone besides screening of films in Kolar, Shimoga, Chickmagalur, Davanagere and Chitradurga. The important area of Mysore region will not have the screening of Sivaji due to tense situation in the wake of Cauvery verdict.
The distributor of 'Sivaji' in Karnataka H.D.Gangaraju has arranged for a
premiere show of the film for the media in Bangalore on 15th June at Badami
House that is situated opposite to Bangalore City Corporation.
“In 10 usual theatres like Nataraj, Ajantha, Poornima or Urvashi,Sribalaji, Mukunda and at Inox, PVR, Innovate Multiplex theatres in Bangalore, Sivaji will be screened” says H.D.Gangaraju who has procured the distribution of the film by paying highest price of Rs.3.25 crores.
He added: “I am abiding the rules framed by the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce even in the case of a Rajnikanth film, though he is the biggest star of India. I will be managing with 10 prints of Sivaji and is also intending to increase the ticket rate ranging from Rs.10 to 20”.
H.D.Gangarju is once again following the instructions of the Bangalore City Corporation in erecting posters. He has asked for permission from BCC commissioner to erect posters in a few busy areas of Bangalore. Two vinyl posters he has planned for one theatre and that comes to nearly 20 to 25 posters. This has nothing to with Bangalore City
Corporation guidelines.
