Everybody is familiar with an under 25 cricket team which mainly consists of cricketers below the age of 25 who are knocking at the doors of test cricket. Similarly some leading producers and distributors say that there is an under 25 brigade of heroes in Tamil who are waiting to be the next stars or superstars. This year has been the year of young brigade as some of the top ten films of the year feature these young heroes. The unanimous choice for the under 25 brigade are five heroes who have made rapid strides in 2004. They are Silambarasan, Dhanush, Jayam Ravi, Bharath and Ravi Krishna.
