Vin Diesel quits xXx sequel

Hollywood muscleman Vin Diesel has reportedly pulled out of his xXx comeback.

The action hero is no longer attached to xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.

"Diesel's departure follows reports of director Rob Cohen quitting the project this summer. He was replaced by little-known moviemaker Ericson Core.

Diesel had been training for the film since August but details about the reasons for his sudden departure from the project have not been released.

The actor initially agreed to return to the xXx franchise after rapper-actor Ice Cube played the lead in xXx 2: State of The Union..
