Legendary filmmaker Woody Allen has sued the clothing company American Apparel
for using his image for advertising without his permission.
Allen says he was not approached by the company for the image, which has been
taken from his 1977 Oscar winning movie Annie Hall,
contactmusic.com reports.
Allen filed the case against American Apparel in the US District Court in New
York, saying that he does not endorse commercial products in the US and the
company has not paid him for the image.
Allen is seeking more than $10 million from the company.
