Star Wars star Hayden Christensen wants to turn his 200 acres farm outside Toronto into a lavender Mecca.

Christensen has big plans for his country retreat and wants to rear livestock. Contactmusic.com reports that he already owns a pair of Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs.

He said: "I'll start off with some cattle and horses, then get a little more inventive. Get some sheep, some goats. Maybe an alpaca."

But it's lavender fields he has his heart set on.

He added: "It doesn't require much maintenance, but apparently it's a bitch to harvest, because you have to cut it all by hand."
