Actor Owen Wilson in his first interview after his suicide attempt spoke about movies, monkeys and malaria but didn't mention his personal problems.
Close friend and partner, director Wes Anderson quizzed him for an interview which was published in myspace.com.
He talked about his trip to India and accepted that some monkeys trapped him while shooting for "The Darjeeling Limited", people.com reports.
Wilson said: "Yes, I did. At first you think, gosh, monkeys, that's so kind of incredible... But they didn't have your best interests at heart. They weren't these adorable little creatures. They want to replace you."
Further commenting on the movie, which is directed by Anderson, Wilson said: "I would say it's maybe, maybe my favourite." He added he was interested in the theme saying: "My character says 'I want us to become brothers again like we used to be.' I really like that line and it means a lot to me."
The actor had tried to end his life in August this year.
