Stiles slams media for rewarding bad behaviour
IANS  | Tuesday, 09 October , 2007, 09:38

London : "Bourne Supremacy" star Julia Stiles has criticised the media for rewarding bad behaviour of young stars like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton with more publicity. She believes that too much attention given to young celebs encourages them to misbehave.

Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying: "I think a lot of it has to do with being very young and having a lot of opportunity and money. As for the attention, I feel we reward bad behaviour. They get a lot of attention for misbehaving, and it reinforces the idea this is who they're supposed to be.

"It may also be about them being young, experimenting and partying. They just get more attention than the average kid who does that. And they're surrounded by people who won't stop them, because they're making so much money for everybody."
