Washington: Hollywood actress Brook Shields' feud with actor Tom Cruise, who criticised her for using psychotherapy and anti-depressant medication, has taken a new turn with New Jersey's acting Governor ordering the hunk to stick to acting and stop upsetting sick women.
According to Contactmusic , the beauty suffered post-partum depression following the birth of her daughter Rowan and has praised the drug Paxil for helping her return to a happier state of mind. But, Cruise a follower of Scientology, which teaches that drugs and psychiatry are destructive and dangerous lambasted Shields' for "misguided" drug use, insisting vitamins and exercise would have cured her depression.
But, Shields hit back at Cruise, by taking a swipe at his religious beliefs and saying she wouldn't take advice from someone who devotes his life to aliens. And, now Governor Richard J Codey has joined the war of words, because his wife too has struggled with the mental illness for 28 years.
