London: Once upon a time she scared men with her bitchy image in "Ally McBeal". Now Lucy Liu has to fend them off with a stick, all thanks to her pin-up role in "Charlie's Angels".
Lucy - who plays high-kicking Alex Munday - said: "Men never asked me out on dates. People got the impression that I am hard. In movies like "Charlie's Angels" I show my softer side and I think that comes through. Actually men have started approaching me and asking me out, so I guess all the interviews and the movie have really helped." But the martial arts-trained actress refused to reveal whether she's taken up some of the offers, says a report in The Sun.
Co-star Cameron was in no mood to spill the beans about her new squeeze Justin Timberlake. However Drew - who plays Dylan Sanders - is more open about her romance with The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti - and her two failed marriages.
According to the report, Cameron and Drew have been friends for 14 years. Cameron said: "There has never been a day when there have been rows like people have claimed. There are always tensions on set but we are a family. We travel together all the time, we go on vacations together, we go to dinner, we go shopping. We do whatever you do with normal girlfriends."
Dismissing stories that they fell out with co-star Demi Moore, who stole the limelight at the Hollywood premiere with lover Ashton Kutcher, Drew explained: "We wanted somebody who would be a force. The Angels can take down a room of men but there is only one woman who could be their demise. Demi was ideal for that role, because she is that person. I desperately wanted her in the movie. I would have camped out on her doorstep until she agreed." ANI
