The big question being asked in trade circles is whether Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Venkat Prabhu directed Goa will release for Pongal 2010?

The buzz is that Soundarya is talking to the market leader to market the project and almost clinched a deal for a Pongal release.

The music of the film by Yuvan Shankar Raja is said to be rocking and it will be launched with a blitz in the second week of December.

Goa stars Jai, Premji, Vaibhav, Melanie and Sneha, is also said to have cameo appearances by Simbu and Nayantara.

Let us hope the young lady and her production house Ocher Studios have a Pongal release with Goa.

Though the director of the film Venkat Prabhu who was anchoring the Paiyya audio launch remarked: “After seeing the trailer and songs of Paiyya, I’m having second thoughts whether to release Goa for Pongal”.
