Soundarya and Bhupathy to launch SIFA

Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studio in association with tennis ace Mahesh Bhupathy’s Globosport are all set to launch a mega event South Indian Film Awards (SIFA).

Says Soundarya Rajinikanth: “It will be an annual international event where south Indian cinema will be celebrated as awards in various categories in all four south Indian languages will be given.”

Soundarya feels that there is a huge opportunity to popularize south cinema which accounts for nearly 350 films in four southern languages every year.
