A crazy fan of superstar Rajinikanth tried to self-immolate in front of the star’s Poes Garden house!
Rajendran from Virudhanagar doused himself in kerosene, as he was unable to meet the star. He was pleading with the security guards at the actor’s residence to see him, but the guards refused which irked him.
Last week Rajinikanth, had met a few of his loyal fans at the Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam and gifted them Rs 50,000 to Rs one lakh each. They were all economically from the weaker section and with the money he wanted them to start some business or other.
When the news came that he had helped a few to set up business, Rajendran a milkman by profession rushed to Chennai, to seek the help of the superstar. And when he failed in his attempts, he tried to set himself ablaze, but police and security guards prevented it and later let him off with a warning.
