Among Bollywood actors stepping in to act in Bangla films is Harsh
Chhaya, a talented actor whose versatility has still to be properly
explored on the big screen. To extend the parameters of his talent, he
is now acting in a Bengali film called Grohon which means eclipse.
He
speaks the language fluently and is married to television model and
actress Sunita Sengupta. The film is being directed by Arindam Nandy
who also directed Via Darjeeling.
Harsh’s role in the film is that of a man who has been through a lot
in life and therefore can see through people. But whatever he sees is
not really what it is like. It fits into Harsh’s desire to explore a
variety of roles that are offbeat and different. His wife plays his
on-screen wife in Grohon. They have been paired together on-screen
earlier in Ramji Londonwalle.
