Alicia Keys has beaten Beyonce Knowles in the run towards Grammy nominations— by just eight days.

Beyonce’s recently released, If I Were a Boy, could have given tough competition to Alicia Keys’ Superwoman, which is one of the major contenders for Best Song and Record, reports Fox News.

However, released at Z100 on October 8 in New York, Boy missed the Grammy deadline by just eight days.

And the Boy has been touted as Beyonce’s best record ever in her career.

In fact, reports suggest that the single was set for a September 30 release but was put on hold for an unknown reason.
