but this time she has some different plans.
For the first time ever, Rani Chatterjee is going to dance on an item song...
and that too in a film, where she is appearing only for this song. And, she
has done this for "Hum Bahubali", one of the biggest film in Bhojpuri
film industry.
In the story of the film, when Mantu Gope (Ravi Kishan) wins the election,
there is huge celebration party with over 20 thousand people present in that...
and Rani dances at that stage on the song "Lagai diya daiyya, lagai diya
re... kore kagaj ke thappa lagai diya re..."
"This exactly how the big muscleman celebrate their victory in Bihar/UP...”
said Anil Ajitabh, director of the movie. "I am sure people will like this
concept, this is a naughty song, but I must tell you, there is no place for
vulgarity in my film," he added.
Even Rani is pretty satisfied with her new role... "No, I am not trying
to become an Item dancer. Actually, this was a nice song, and when Anil jee
& Abhay jee (Producer) asked me to do it, I tried to deliver my best. I
am sure the audience will love this song," said Rani Chatterjee. Bhojpuri
superstar Ravi Kishan will also be seen dancing with her.
"Hum Bahubali" is going to release on this Friday itself.
