PIN DROP VIOLENCE a.k.a PDV (Mumbai)
The name describes everything about what the band does. If you have been for
a PDV concert you will agree that it will re-arrange your perceptions of what
a rock show should be like! And of course, the proverb 'pin drop silence'
is forever distorted in your brain and you end up re-programming your English
vocabulary! The word 'silence' feels like a misfit in any context
as the onslaught of grungy guitars and rap-rock lyrical delivery, bring a bounce
to your innards!
The year 2000 saw the beginning of PDV and they have been metal heading ever
since for competitions like RAIT, IIT Kanpur & Mumbai and have also been
covered on the BBC. Their debut album "Compose...Oppose...Dispose"
is distributed by Sony music nationwide.

MOKSHA (Chennai)
1995 is when India first heard them and they shocked critics at I-ROCK Mumbai.
They won every competition after that and then stepped into the professional
league. Moksha has never dethroned after that. Today, the band is reputed
to be one of the most successful unsigned bands in the country.
The fact that they have been released by an international record label that
has been sold all across the US and Europe is actually an old story. The big
news now is that they are releasing their much-awaited album "WALK
BEFORE YOU CRAWL" which is a collection of their own songs. Some
of their songs like 'Mr. President', 'Days of thunder',
'What's wrong?' are already "TOP Billboard hits"
among fans!
Moksha will release their brand new album "WALK BEFORE YOU CRAWL"
on Aug 20th during their performance at the Finale of JRO 2005.
