Ekta Choudhury, Pooja Chopra, top winners, Miss India

Ekta Choudhury, a 22-year-old from New Delhi, was on Sunday night crowned Pantaloons Femina Miss India Universe 2009. Pooja Chopra from Pune was crowned Miss India World and Shriya Kishore from Mumbai is Miss India Earth 2009.

This year, Miss India Universe and Miss India World share top honours.

The ceremony also featured performances by Bollywood stars Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Genelia D'souza, choreographed by Shiamak Davar.

The contestants dazzled at the event in beautiful creations by designers Ritu Kumar, Rocky S, Pantaloons (designed by Rajesh and Anirban) and Prasad Bidappa.

The show was choreographed by Marc Robinson and hosted by Bollywood beauty Malaika Arora Khan and star R Madhavan.

Among the judges were Bollywood stars Ajay Devgan, Asin, Deepika Padukone and Sushmita Sen.

The new beauties were crowned by last year's title holders Miss World first runner-up Parvathy Omanakuttan, Miss India Universe Simran Kaur Mundi and Miss India Earth Tanvi Vyas.
